Matee Jedeepitak
Matee is a former champion southpaw fighter whose nickname, “Dragon Leg”, was given to him for his powerful kicking style. He fought regularly in Bangkok at Lumpinee Stadium throughout the 1990s, considered by many as the golden era of Muay Thai. With over 200 professional fights, he won the Lumpinee belt, the most prestigious championship in Thailand as a Featherweight and fought many well-known opponents. He has been called one of the greatest southpaws in the history of the sport and has also won championships from the World Muay Thai Council, IKF, and Pro San Shou.
After sustaining a shoulder injury, Matee came to the U.S. for what he expected to be a short stay. Sine then, Matee has made Michigan his home, with his wife and daughter, and focuses on teaching his powerful Muay Thai striking style.
Ruben Jiminez
Ruben began his Martial Arts training back in 2006, at the most successful gym in Costa Rica. He trained and competed in amateur Kickboxing and Muay Thai tournaments for several years. After moving to Michigan in 2014, he started his Muay Thai training under former world champion and Muay Thai legend, Matee “Dragon Leg” Jedeepitak.
Hannah Schmidt
Hannah is a USA amateur boxer, Jiu Jitsu blue belt, amateur MMA competitor, and frequently trains in Muay Thai. She loves helping people improve their technique while pushing everyone to train to the best of their ability!
Nick Crist
Nick Crist is a lifelong athlete, collegiate D1 baseball catcher, former amateur MMA competitor and currently a Jiu Jitsu brown belt. Nick has been studying Jiu Jitsu for more than 8 years and has competed in Gracie Worlds and Gracie Regionals. He enjoys helping students and competitors understand the mindset required for athletic success: prepare, apply, learn and improve.

Nabila Chaudri Martinez
Nabila wrestled at the University of Puerto Rico (Río Piedras) where she took 2nd in the 2014 Puerto Rico Nationals competition. Her love of grappling led her to study Judo, achieving competitive success as a white belt, after which she was introduced to Jiu Jitsu. As a blue belt, Nabila has been an active competitor, including her participation in Pan Ams, Grappling Industries, and regional tournaments.
